N4t3R'S Gnome Repository's for Slackware Current

Just a reminder that I will only keep up to date on the last version which is 46 and the current stable version which is 47 this will follow along as time permits on all future Repository's.

N4t3R'S Gnome 47.0 Repository Released for Slackware Current

Gnome 47.0 has offically been released for Slackware Current. You can either upgrade or direct install from the following weblink. https://reddoglinux.ddns.net/linux/gnome/47.x/x86_64/

And always if you have slackpkg+ installed slackpkg update ; slackpkg install gnome ; slackpkg upgrade-all to keep upto date with all the changes.

N4t3R'S Gnome 46.0 Repository Released for Slackware Current

Gnome 46.0 has offically been released for Slackware Current. You can either upgrade or direct install from the following weblink. https://reddoglinux.ddns.net/linux/gnome/46.x/x86_64/ This release Orca has been compiled with Braille Support (brltty), and all Python3 modules have been either updated or recompiled due to the Python3-3.11.8 upgrade in Slackware Current. Also VRR has been merged gsettings set org.gnome.mutter experimental-features “['variable-refresh-rate']“ in the terminal will allow you to change to the experimental feature which is still hidden.

As always if you have slackpkg+ installed slackpkg update ; slackpkg install gnome ; slackpkg upgrade-all to keep upto date with all the changes.

Gnome 46.beta has offically been released for Slackware Current. You can only upgrade Gnome 45.x at this time. https://reddoglinux.ddns.net/linux/gnome/46.x/x86_64/

N4t3R'S Gnome 45.2 Repository with Variable Refresh Rate or ( VRR )

Thank's to the great work of Dor Askayo we now have the updated and rebased patch's for VRR support in Gnome 45. I have included the link's to Mutter and Gnome Control Center due to them overwriting files on the main packages.

These two packages combined with the rest of Gnome 45 allow for a great Gaming Experience.

This repository is in the beginning stages of development, unless you want bleeding edge software please stay with either 43 or 44 stable release's on Slackware-Current. Again Gnome 45 is not complete.

N4t3R'S Gnome 44.alpha Repository

Gnome 44.alpha has been released if you choose to upgrade to this developmental release please make sure that you install Gnome 43.2 before upgrading to Gnome 44.alpha, if you fail to install Gnome 43.2 first you will have a broken system.

Gnome 44.alpha is not yet completed and is not based on Slackware-Current with out the underlying programs that are in Gnome 43.2.
